For some people in Beverly Hills, getting a facelift is an unnecessary procedure that reeks of vanity. However, more and more people are getting the procedure, and some of their reasons undeniably go deeper than the skin. Here are two of the main ones:
To increase self-esteem:
Years of hard work and worry will take its toll on a person’s face, and the resulting tired look can make a person feel bad about themselves. A face lift is an opportunity to rejuvenate one’s appearance, thus helping them gain more confidence and improving the way they see themselves.

The ears become integral in the symmetry – and consequent attractiveness – of a face. As such, when the ears bear even a minor deformity, it would be noticeable and branded as unusual or even ugly by others. Prominently protruding ears, more so, could be a feature that others would constantly pick on no matter if you’re young or old.

If you’ve been looking into options for cosmetic surgery to eliminate signs of aging and maintain a youthful appearance, a facelift may be the most suitable for you. A facelift will remove excess skin and fat and tighten your face, eliminating facial lines and wrinkles in the process. However, you may not be aware that a facelift works best with a necklift, too.

The SMAS (submuscular aponeurotic system) facelift is one of the more sought-after cosmetic treatments today. Also known as the deep-plane technique, the procedure involves readjusting the skin and muscle tissue for a more natural contour. However, not just anybody can undergo an SMAS facelift, and most reliable Beverly Hills facelift surgeons would exercise extreme caution when ensuring your eligibility for the procedure.

When asked about his future plans, Rodrigues intends to raise money to have his cheekbones and eyebrows enhanced to complete his transformation. Who knows, his goal to “be like Mike” might even result in Rodrigues having a face lift in Los Angeles where renowned facial plastic surgeons, like Dr. Davis Nguyen M.D., practice the art of facial rejuvenation. Some believe Rodrigues is insane for losing himself in a celebrity’s aura. Others are convinced it’s simply his passion for the man and his music. Either way, Gleidson is at peace with what he does; should that make his critics beat it?

Will it be a brow lift, or an eyelid surgery? Will it be rhinoplasty, or injectibles? Laser resurfacing? It’s anyone’s guess. All these services can be provided by recognized facial plastic and reconstructive surgery practices such as that of Dr. Davis B. Nguyen, MD—but for adults primarily. Optimistic at best Webber sums up the public opinion spot-on when she points out that Kylie is already pretty and, for now, does not need a Beverly Hills face lift. Most everyone is susceptible to the effects of aging, but some experience them earlier than others. Many factors affect this natural occurrence including vices.

A single puff of cigarette causes blood vessels to thin down which interferes with the oxygen flow in your blood. A decrease in oxygen and circulation impacts your skin’s elasticity, eventually leading to premature wrinkles.

Facelift surgery can help reduce the signs of aging on your face and give you a more youthful look. However, take note that if you undergo this surgical procedure, you can expect to take a  short period of time for recovery. If you don’t manage to follow the recommended recovery steps, complications might arise. So before you step onto your doctor’s office for the appointment, be sure you’ve got yourself prepped up:

The war against Father Time is one that our skin simply cannot win. However, there are a few ways by which you can achieve little victories over aging. If you’re living in the vicinity of Beverly Hills, one thing you can do is to visit a Beverly Hills facelift surgeon and explore the possibility of facial cosmetic surgery. If you’re considering a facelift, know that the recovery process is not without difficulty.

Great facial skin is an important aspect in projecting a youthful, glowing appearance, that’s why people give due focus on improving and maintaining their skin. Much as they succeed in giving their facial skin that silky feel and look, women, in particular, tend to neglect one critical area: the neck. As a result, unsightly wrinkles and bands will have developed long before they notice it.

If you feel the skin on your neck can use a little improvement, here are some natural tips to follow:

Like it or not, physics plays a major role in defining what you might look like. Here on Earth, two physical forces—gravity and time—are responsible for one of the most obvious effects of aging: droopy, sagging skin.
For many men and women, this loosening of the skin is a major cause for concern. Seen as a reduction of their physical beauty, this sign of aging can cause some people to feel less confident about themselves and frustrated at their helplessness against the ravages of time.

Facelifts are one of the more popular cosmetic surgery procedures today. The so-called SMAS facelift is often touted as the next level up from traditional facelifts for it works on the underlying facial muscles to keep them firm. To this day, mother-daughter bonding over plastic surgery continues. It is a trend that many women can understand and relate to. After all, making the decision to undergo plastic surgery is not easy; and often, a candidate will be spending agonizing moments weighing the pros and the cons. Having someone close to her, like a mother or a daughter, as she goes through those moments, can ease the stress and provide her with the much needed emotional and moral support.

The needs of mothers and daughters may be different, particularly if they belong to widely separated age groups. However, they could have similar goals, too, considering that they share many of the same genes. Likewise, if their ages are similar to those of Lynda’s and Stefanie’s from Ms. Krupnick’s report, they may both want to go through rejuvenating procedures like a face lift.

Liquid facelifts have revolutionized the world of cosmetics. Many female and even male adults prefer liquid facelifts to achieve their longed-for looks. The procedure is minimally invasive, takes effect faster, appears subtler and more natural, cuts recovery time, and can be done at low cost. Because you may have to get multiple treatments (varying around 6 month to two year intervals), you can opt out of the treatment anytime.

Do not confuse liquid facelifts with anti-aging creams and lotions, which do not always (if at all) firm and lift the skin. Rather, liquid facelifts involve the use of injectable fillers underneath wrinkles or saggy surfaces on the face. Local anesthetics are applied so you don’t feel any pain as the injections are being applied.

Botox, the most popular among injected liquid agents, fill creased areas and erase fine lines by making the skin tauter. Along with similar products, Botox also immobilizes the facial muscles to help tone the area. A little bit goes a long way with Botox; your doctor would determine the right dose to achieve optimal, natural-looking aesthetic results without sacrificing your comfort.

Aside from Botox, other natural substances are being used as injectable fillers. Generally, these dermal fillers become a cushion on facial parts that have weak muscle tone or displaced fat. Examples are hyaluronic acid fillers, collagen and collagen stimulators, and transplanted fat.

There are facial flaws brought by aging that no amount of makeup or creams can cover-up or resolve. These blemishes could take a toll on your self-esteem, which can eventually affect your social life or career. If you are looking for potential solutions, here are the three main techniques used in facial cosmetic enhancement:

Lasers
Cosmetic lasers are used as a nonsurgical treatment for a variety of skin imperfections. These laser may either vaporize the outer layer of the skin or the deeper layers, depending on the extent of the skin problem. Fine lines and wrinkles, which are common signs of aging, can dramatically disappear through laser treatments. Skin pigmentations or age spots, acne scars, and other lesions may be reduced, as well.

Injectables
Sometimes called liquid facelifts, injectable fillers improve the facial surfaces by filling in the hollow spaces beneath sagging skin. They serve as cushions to support facial structures that have lost muscle tone or elasticity. The most common injectables include Botox and collagen-based fillers. Hyaluronic acid fillers and fat fillers are also becoming popular as natural alternatives.

Surgery
For more extensive alterations, a surgical facelift or rhytidectomy may be considered. A Beverly Hills facelift surgery corrects most facial imperfections, especially on the lower portion of the face and even the neck. Advanced surgical techniques by board certified surgeons can successfully rejuvenate the face and result to natural-looking, youthful contours.

You don’t have to be a Hollywood actress to recognize the stunning beauty and grace that younger looking skin can give. Unfortunately, the busy lifestyle of today, coupled with the air pollution in many big cities could really take a huge toll on your skin’s health and lead to visible signs of aging, such as wrinkles and age spots. Thus, it’s no wonder so many women opt to get facelift surgery to look young again.

What it is

Essentially, facelift surgery, or rhytidectomy is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of excess facial skin, and redraping it on the patient’s face and neck. This is only the general idea of the treatment though, as there are many surgical procedures that might cause some of its elements to vary. Facelifts are often combined with other cosmetic surgery procedures like eyelid surgery for better results.

What it does

A facelift procedure mainly removes visible signs of aging, which can include deep creases below the eyelids, sagging in the midface, loss of muscle tone, fallen or misplaced fat in the face, or loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw. Know though, that while this procedure can make you look younger, it is in no way meant to change your fundamental appearance, nor is it aimed at halting the aging process.

In both real life and popular culture, the demand for facelift in Beverly Hills has increased and has become part of the city’s beauty and celebrity culture. In turn, reputable cosmetic surgery practitioners have since been held in high regard. However, with the introduction of the Affordable Care Act, doctors are seeing grim possibilities for their business earnings–prompting some of them to contemplate retiring early.

When the law was first passed in 2010, Democrats wanted to slap a 10% tax on cosmetic surgery procedures and materials related to esthetic surgery. However, the public and the doctors were basically kept in the dark as to which processes or materials would fall under that 10% tax.

Aging leads to a variety of changes in the face. Volume loss takes its toll on the facial tissues, affecting muscle tone and skin elasticity. Fine lines become prominent on the forehead, around the eyes and the mouth. Facial skin, especially on the cheeks and chin, sags as fat loss occurs on those areas. Cartilage on the nose may also deteriorate due to natural degeneration.

While the aging process cannot be stopped, minimally invasive procedures, such as a “liquid facelift” through injections, can be done to combat these facial aging effects. Scientifically approved fillers are injected into target spots to fill creases and sags for a fuller, rejuvenated appearance.

Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Hurley, Megan Fox, Monica Bellucci.

What do these Hollywood actresses have in common besides being brilliant in their own right in glitzy tinsel town? These ladies all have plump, full lips, which make them highly desirable and admired.

A healthy plump pout is one of the most noticeable features in a lady's face. Who wouldn't want full, youthful-looking lips anyway? Unfortunately, as one ages, the body decreases production and circulation of collagen, the one responsible for firmer lips. This causes the lips to thin, and have unsightly lines and creases.

How well you follow your doctor’s postoperative instructions is just as important as the treatment you get from the operating room. Following these protocols diligently can help ensure a positive outcome, just as ignoring them can lead to undesired results.

After surgery, you will be sent home with a bandage dressing on your face that needs to be worn overnight. In addition, you’ll likely have one, two, sometimes even three tubes on your face, with each end attached to a suction bulb drain. They may be unsightly and inconvenient, but for the duration of your recovery (which can last up to ten days), you’ll need to grow accustomed to them.

In Beverly Hills, looking young and beautiful with the help of cosmetic surgery is commonplace. In fact, even Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards jokes that only in this famous zip code can a mother-in-law can look younger than her daughter-in-law. Other stars from the show are also not shy about having a few nips and tucks.

While there are a slew of cosmetic procedures that can improve appearance and bring out a youthful glow, one of the most popular is the facelift. A facelift can tighten the skin and remove excess muscle and fat, resulting in a tauter look. Unfortunately, not everyone is a good candidate for a facelift.

The procedure is commonly performed on individuals in their 40s, and good skin elasticity is requisite. One also has to have sound physical health to be eligible and to prevent possible complications.

A facelift is meant to enhance one's appearance, not totally alter it to look like someone else. A person should also be prepared to follow post-operative procedures to achieve optimal results. One should also be ready to commit to follow-up checkups when necessary.
Individuals looking to undergo a facelift can consult their plastic surgeon to learn more about how the procedure can help them achieve a more youthful look.

Also known as a facelift, rhytidectomy is a surgical procedure that addresses the effects of aging by making a patient look younger, through “lifting” parts of the face. Board-certified doctors are the ones that perform facelifts, as it is a complex process that requires a careful and learned approach.

Over time, the face loses its muscle tone and skin elasticity. Cheeks begin to sag, which distorts the jaw line and forms jowls. Skin on the neck can also loosen, giving the impression of a gobbling turkey. Rhytidectomy corrects those effects by rejuvenating the face as well as the neck, if necessary.

Prior to surgery, the patient receives local anesthesia on the face and general anesthesia or sedative via an IV line. The surgeon makes an incisions starting from the temple area and around the ear. The skin is then raised to allow the muscles and tissue underneath to be tightened. While some skin and fat may be removed, the former is re-draped over the face and the incision sutured.

Usually, rhytidectomy takes several hours to complete. Some patients stay overnight in the hospital to recover, while others can go home on the same day of the procedure. Plastic surgeons work toward achieving natural-looking results, making patients look years younger and bringing back that youthful glow that is desired by many.
